Marie started her career as a graphic designer in Munich, Germany. After working in various agencies and publishing houses in Munich, she moved back to Finland and started experimenting with different fine art mediums, mainly using classic methods like charcoal, graphite pencils or aquarelle as well as digital techniques.
Currently, her favourites mediums involve coloured pencils, charcoal and acrylic paint.
Her approach places a lot of importance on reasearching and preparing before even heading to the canvas.
